Wilmington and Burgaw Area Real Estate News

When the housing market made its major dip, new construction in numerous cities halted. Demand declined and builders, hit hard financially, stopped making new homes. But it appears now that things are starting to turn around. For the second month in a row, residential construction has increased. National construction numbers have come in for October from the U.S. Census Bureau and they're showing that spending on residential construction rose 2.4% from September. While there are still many resales on the market, a rise in residential construction means people are again starting to see the value in investing in real estate and that means more work for construction workers. Lets hope this continues!
